Violinist and composer MARGOT spent over a decade contributing to the pop world, recording strings for Beyoncé, Lady Gaga and St. Vincent, and opening for Janet Jackson, Diana Ross and Stevie Wonder with her band The Dolls (with DJ Mia Moretti) at venues such as the Louvre and the Guggenheim Museum. After these years on major stages, she shifted her focus back to her roots and first love: classical music.

Margot has built a growing portfolio as a composer. In 2022, she wrote the score for Born Free, a feature documentary addressing maternal mortality in the United States and has also composed commissioned pieces for Nike Women, Elle, American Express, Barneys and several film trailers.

In 2021, she released “The Apartment on Third Street”, her debut instrumental project, accompanied by an Amazon Music mini-documentary (Margot’s Symphony) that follows her creative process from early inspiration to conducting the final recording. Now exceeding 13 million streams, the project marked the first step toward the intimate and cinematic musical language she continues to refine.

Her first full-length album “The Villain”, recorded in 2023 at El Alto Estudio in Medellín, Colombia, explores memory, self-confrontation and emotional excavation through a modern instrumental lens. In 2025, Margot begins unveiling this body of work with its first singles: Day One and Mvmt II: A Memory. These releases mark the beginning of a new artistic chapter she will continue to reveal in the months ahead.
